Rocksdale is a small place in Calhoun County, West Virginia, in the United States. It's known as an "unincorporated community." This means it's a group of homes and buildings that doesn't have its own local government, like a city or town. Instead, it's part of the larger county.
Rocksdale is located where two rivers, the Henry Fork and the West Fork Little Kanawha River, meet. This meeting point is called a "confluence." The community is found along County Route 9. It is about 7.5 miles (12.1 km) east-northeast of a town called Spencer.
