Roderic Fitzgerald Teamer Jr. (born May 12, 1997) is an American professional football safety. He has played in the National Football League (NFL) for teams like the Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, and New Orleans Saints. He played college football at Tulane University.

Early Life and High School Football
Roderic Teamer was born and grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. He went to Brother Martin High School. During his senior year, he was a top player. He made 116 tackles, caught two interceptions, and had one sack. These achievements earned him first-team All-Metro and first-team All-State honors.
College Football Career
Teamer played football for four seasons at Tulane University. He joined the Tulane Green Wave team. By the end of his first year, he became a starter at cornerback.
Junior and Senior Seasons
In his junior year, Teamer made 48 tackles. He also broke up two passes and blocked a kick. He recovered a fumble and ran it back 52 yards for a touchdown. As a senior, he was second on his team with 72 tackles. He also broke up six passes and had one interception. He was recognized as a second-team All-American Athletic Conference player.

Roderic Teamer began his professional career in 2019. He was not chosen in the NFL Draft. Instead, he signed with a team as an undrafted free agent.
Time with the Los Angeles Chargers
Teamer joined the Los Angeles Chargers on April 27, 2019. He made his first NFL appearance on September 22, 2019. He started as a strong safety against the Houston Texans and made seven tackles. On October 20, 2019, he got his first career interception. He caught a pass thrown by Ryan Tannehill during a game against the Tennessee Titans.
In Week 8, Teamer played against the Chicago Bears. He led his team with 8 tackles and sacked quarterback Mitch Trubisky. He finished his first season with 40 tackles, one sack, two passes defended, and one interception. He played in seven games, starting six of them.
Playing for the Las Vegas Raiders
