Rodrigo Gral (born February 21, 1977) is a former professional football player from Brazil. He was known for being a strong striker, scoring many goals during his career. Rodrigo played for several teams in Brazil and also became famous for his time playing in Japan.

Football Career Highlights

Rodrigo Gral started his football journey in his home country, Brazil. He played for well-known teams like Grêmio, Juventude, Flamengo, and Sport Recife. These experiences helped him become a skilled player.

Playing in Japan

In 2002, Rodrigo Gral moved to Japan to play in the J1 League. He joined the team Júbilo Iwata. His first game for the team was on March 17, 2002, against Consadole Sapporo. It was a special moment because he scored a goal in front of his new home fans at Yamaha Stadium.

Rodrigo quickly became one of the best goal scorers in the J1 League. He scored goals very often, usually more than one goal every two games he played. This made him a very important player for his team. After playing for Júbilo Iwata, he also played for other Japanese teams like Yokohama F. Marinos and Omiya Ardija.

Representing Brazil
