Roger Anthony Lloyd-Pack (born 8 February 1944 – died 16 January 2014) was a famous English actor. He was best known for playing the character Trigger in the TV show Only Fools and Horses. He also played Owen Newitt in The Vicar of Dibley.
Many people also know him from the movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, where he played Barty Crouch Sr.. He also appeared in Doctor Who as John Lumic. Roger Lloyd-Pack passed away in 2014 from pancreatic cancer.

Early Life and Education
Roger Lloyd-Pack was born in Islington, London. His father, Charles Lloyd-Pack, was also an actor. His mother, Ulrike Elisabeth, was a Jewish refugee from Austria. She worked as a travel agent.
Roger went to Bedales School in Hampshire. There, he studied English, French, and Latin. After school, he trained to be an actor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). He worked with other actors like Kenneth Cranham and Richard Wilson during his training.
Acting Career Highlights
Roger Lloyd-Pack started his acting journey at the Royal Theatre in Northampton. He became very well-known for his role as Trigger in the popular BBC comedy show Only Fools and Horses. This show was a big hit in Britain.
He was also famous for playing Owen Newitt in another comedy show called The Vicar of Dibley. For audiences around the world, his most famous role was Barty Crouch, Sr. in the movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

He was a big fan of the football team Tottenham Hotspur. He even narrated a video played before all their home matches.
Roger was interested in public transport and supported better railway systems. He also supported a children's charity in London called Scene & Heard. He was interested in politics and supported the Labour Party for some time.
In an interview, Roger said that if he hadn't become an actor, he might have been a psychiatrist, a photographer, or a musician. He admired actors like Paul Scofield. In 2012, he helped raise money for The Bridge School in Islington.
Death and Tributes
Roger Lloyd-Pack passed away at his home in Kentish Town on 16 January 2014. He was 69 years old and died from pancreatic cancer.
His funeral was held at St. Paul's Church in Covent Garden. Many famous actors attended, including Sir David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst from Only Fools and Horses. Other actors like Miranda Richardson and Kathy Burke also paid their respects. He was buried at Highgate Cemetery East.
Later that year, a special episode of Only Fools and Horses for Sport Relief was dedicated to Roger Lloyd-Pack and the show's writer, John Sullivan. The final episode of The Vicar of Dibley also included a tribute to him and other cast members who had passed away.
