Rohit Suresh Saraf (born on December 8, 1996) is an actor from India. He mainly acts in Hindi movies and TV shows. Rohit started his acting journey on television. His first movie was the comedy-drama Dear Zindagi in 2016.
Rohit Saraf is well-known for his roles in movies like Hichki (2018), The Sky Is Pink (2019), Ludo (2020), and Ishq Vishk Rebound (2024). He also became very popular for his part in the Netflix romantic comedy series Mismatched, which ran from 2020 to 2024. In 2025, Forbes Asia magazine included Rohit Saraf in their special list called 30 Under 30. This list features young people who are making a big impact.

Early Life and Dreams
Rohit Saraf was born in Nepal on December 8, 1996. His family is from the Marwadi community. When he was young, his family moved to Rohini in Delhi, India. He grew up there. When Rohit was 15, he moved to Mumbai by himself. He wanted to become an actor, which was his late father's dream for him.
Rohit's father, Suresh Saraf, passed away when Rohit was 12 years old. Rohit finished his Grade 10 studies. After that, he focused completely on his dream of becoming an actor.
Rohit's Acting Journey
Rohit Saraf started his career by acting in several TV shows. One of his early shows was the teen drama Best Friends Forever? on Channel V.
His first movie role was in Dear Zindagi (2016). In this film, he played the younger brother of the character played by Alia Bhatt. After that, Rohit appeared in a Norwegian movie called What Will People Say. He played the lead character's cousin. This movie was chosen to represent Norway at the 91st Academy Awards.
In 2018, Rohit Saraf acted in the comedy-drama Hichki. He starred alongside famous actress Rani Mukerji in this Yash Raj Films movie. Then, in 2019, he was in the true-story drama The Sky Is Pink. He acted with Priyanka Chopra and Zaira Wasim. Critics praised his acting in this film. For example, Saibal Chatterjee from NDTV said Rohit "gives a solid account of himself."
In 2020, Rohit Saraf was part of a big cast in Anurag Basu's movie Ludo. This was a dark comedy film. Even with few lines, he stood out in the movie. In the same year, he started starring in the Netflix romantic drama series Mismatched. He played the role of Rishi Singh Sekhawat, alongside Prajakta Koli. Many people liked his character. Raja Sen from Mint Lounge said Rohit created a "refreshingly non-alpha hero."
Rohit also played a main role in the Tamil romantic drama Kamali From Nadukkaveri (2021). He then appeared in Vikram Vedha (2022). In this film, he played the younger brother of the character played by Hrithik Roshan. In 2024, Rohit Saraf got his first main role in a Hindi film. It was the romantic comedy Ishq Vishk Rebound.
Rohit Saraf is expected to appear in the Tamil film Thug Life by Mani Ratnam. He will also be in the romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari from Dharma Productions.
