Playing in the Major Leagues

In 1985, Ron split his time between the Blue Jays and the Syracuse Chiefs. He played in 38 games for Toronto. However, he only got four hits in 35 tries at bat.
His Best MLB Season
The year 1986 was Ron's most active in MLB. He was called up from Syracuse in May. He stayed with the Blue Jays for the rest of the season. He got 14 hits in 69 tries at bat. This gave him a batting average of .203. He also hit four doubles. A double is when a player hits the ball and reaches second base safely. He also hit his only two MLB home runs that year.
