Ronald James Dulaca Gibbs (born November 27, 1947 – died December 17, 2023), known as Ronaldo Valdez, was a famous Filipino actor. He had a long career that lasted almost 50 years. He was known for playing many different kinds of characters in movies and TV shows.

Ronaldo Valdez started his acting journey as a young leading man. He later became well-known for playing father figures and sometimes even villains in films and on television.

A famous actor named Dolphy discovered Ronaldo Valdez. This happened at a basketball court while Dolphy was looking for a new actor. Ronaldo Valdez's first big role was in the 1966 movie Pepe En Pilar. He then got another important part in the 1969 film The Mad Doctor of Blood Island.
