Rondoy is a tall mountain in the Andes mountains of Peru. It stands about 5,870 meters (19,259 feet) high! This makes it one of the impressive peaks in the Huayhuash mountain range.

The name Rondoy might come from the Quechua language. Runtuy in Quechua can mean "to hail" (like when ice falls from the sky) or "to lay an egg."

Rondoy is located in two different areas of Peru: the Ancash Region and the Huánuco Region. It's found in specific districts like Pacllón and Queropalca. You can find Rondoy north of other famous mountains like Yerupajá and Jirishanca. It's also southwest of a lake called Mitococha.
