Roosdaal is a town located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. It's a special kind of town called a municipality.
Roosdaal includes four smaller towns: Borchtlombeek, Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Lombeek, Pamel, and Strijtem. It is also part of a beautiful area known as the Pajottenland.
As of January 1, 2016, about 11,494 people lived in Roosdaal. The total area of the municipality is 21.69 square kilometers. This means about 530 people live in each square kilometer.
Roosdaal is famous in Flanders for its delicious berries. It even has an annual strawberry convention! A popular place to visit is the historic Hertboom Windmill.
In 2008, one of Roosdaal's towns, Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Lombeek, was voted "The most beautiful village in Flemish Brabant" during a TV competition. However, it didn't win the overall competition for all of Flanders.
