Rosa is found in the middle part of Blount County. Its borders reach close to Oneonta, which is the main town of the county.
A major road, U.S. Route 231, goes right through Rosa. This road can take you about 4 miles (6 km) southeast to Oneonta. If you go west on US-231, you'll reach Cleveland in about 3 miles (5 km). Keep going north for about 60 miles (97 km) and you'll arrive in Huntsville.
