Rosie and Jim (sometimes written as Rosie & Jim) is a popular British children's television programme. It was created by Ragdoll Productions. The show aired on ITV in the UK from 1990 to 2000. It also showed on PBS in the USA from 1992 to 2001. The programme continued to be repeated on CITV until 2004.

Rosie and Jim are two special rag dolls. They live on a narrowboat called the Ragdoll. This boat comes from Birmingham, England. The dolls have a musical instrument called a concertina.

Rosie and Jim have a big secret. They come alive when no one is watching them! They use this time to explore the world. They travel along the canals on their narrowboat.

Canal Adventures

The dolls love to learn about new things. They secretly follow the Ragdoll's owner on different adventures. They often join in with what's happening around them. Sometimes, they even cause a little bit of trouble! But they are never caught. No one ever sees them come to life.
