Rotolo's Story

Rotolo’s Pizzeria first opened its doors in 1996. It was in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, close to Louisiana State University. The area is known as Tigerland. At first, the company grew by opening more stores in Baton Rouge. Then, it expanded to other parts of Louisiana. Some stores were company-owned, and others were franchises.

In 2016, Rotolo's created a new idea called Rotolo's Craft and Crust. This new brand has a better menu with special ingredients. It uses cured meats and other unique items. Each Craft and Crust location feels more upscale and has a special bar. The menu includes new pizza types, like Chicago-style and deep-dish pizzas. The name "Craft and Crust" comes from these special food items.

Rotolo's even won awards at the World Pizza Championships in 2018! They earned three honors out of five. They won gold medals in the Pizza Triathlon and Fastest Dough Stretch. They also won a silver medal for Fastest Box Folding. This shows how skilled their team is!
