Round Lake State Park is a fun place to visit in Idaho. It's a public park located about 4 miles (6.4 km) southwest of Sagle in Bonner County. The park covers 142 acres (57 hectares) of land. It completely surrounds a beautiful lake called Round Lake, which is 123 acres (50 hectares) in size.
This special lake was formed a very long time ago. During the Pleistocene Ice Age, huge sheets of ice called glaciers moved across the land. As they melted, they left behind the perfect spot for Round Lake. The park officially opened in 1965, giving everyone a chance to enjoy its natural beauty.
