Roy Hall, born on December 8, 1983, is a former American football player. He played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). The Indianapolis Colts chose him in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL draft. Before joining the NFL, he played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He finished his college career in the 2007 BCS National Championship Game.

Roy Hall's Early Life and High School Success
Roy Hall was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew up to be a talented athlete. He played high school football at Brush High School in Lyndhurst, Ohio. Roy was not only good at sports but also a great student. He had a 3.8 GPA, which is a very high score. He was named a first-team All-Ohio player in both football and basketball. Roy was even ranked among the top 10 high school wide receivers in the country.
Roy Hall's College Football Journey at Ohio State
Roy Hall played wide receiver for the Ohio State University Buckeyes. During his first year, he caught six passes for 69 yards. He got better in his second year, making 17 catches for 230 yards. In his third year, he had 16 catches for 134 yards. For his final college season, he caught 13 passes for 147 yards. He also played in the important 2007 BCS National Championship Game.
Even though Roy was not invited to the NFL combine, he showed off his skills at a special event called Pro Day. At Pro Day, he ran a very fast 40-yard dash in 4.32 seconds. This impressive speed caught the eye of the Indianapolis Colts.
Roy Hall's Professional Football Career

Roy Hall began his professional football career with the Indianapolis Colts. They drafted him in April 2007. In his first year, during a game against the Houston Texans, Roy was involved in a collision. This incident caused an injury to another player, ending their season. Roy himself was placed on the Injured Reserve list, which meant his first season ended after only three games.
Time with the New Orleans Saints
Roy Hall signed with the New Orleans Saints on May 12, 2010. However, he was later placed on injured reserve and then released from the team.
Joining the Detroit Lions
On December 14, 2010, Roy Hall signed with the Detroit Lions practice squad.
