Russell Mountain is a natural high point, also called a summit, located in Iron County, Missouri in the United States. It stands 1,726 feet (526 meters) tall. This mountain is part of the St. Francois Mountains, an ancient mountain range.

Russell Mountain is found just east of Taum Sauk Mountain. Taum Sauk Mountain is the highest point in Missouri. A road called Missouri Route CC helps people get to both peaks. This road connects from Missouri Routes 21 and 72, which are to the east. The town of Ironton is about six miles northeast of Russell Mountain. A walking path called the Tom Sauk Trail goes along the ridge of Russell Mountain.
