The Ruzizi River, also called the Rusizi River, is a river in East Africa. It is about 117 kilometres (73 mi) long. This river flows from Lake Kivu all the way to Lake Tanganyika.
Famous Crocodile: Gustave
A very famous crocodile named Gustave lives near the Ruzizi River. He also roams the northern parts of Lake Tanganyika. Gustave is a huge Nile crocodile. He is about 6 metres (20 ft) long. He weighs around 900 kilograms (2,000 lb). Gustave is known for being a very dangerous crocodile. People in the area are very afraid of him. He is almost like a mythical creature because of his reputation.
