Representing Ireland at Eurovision
Ryan Dolan's song "Only Love Survives" won a contest called Eurosong 2013 in Ireland. This win meant he would represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. The big event took place in Malmö, Sweden.
He sang his song in the first semi-final on May 14, 2013. He did well enough to make it to the final round. In the final, held on May 18, 2013, Ryan Dolan finished in last place. He received five points from three different countries.
Releasing His First Album and New Songs
Ryan Dolan released his first album, called Frequency, on May 13, 2013. Later, on March 7, 2014, he released a new song titled "Start Again". This song became very popular online, being watched over a million times on YouTube.
On June 20, 2014, he released his third song, "Fall to the Floor". This song reached number 88 on the Irish music charts.
Eurovision Jury and Cover Songs
