Ryan Lewis (born April 15, 1994) is an American former football player. He played as a cornerback in the NFL. Ryan is now an assistant coach for the Colorado Mines Orediggers. He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh. After college, he joined several NFL teams, including the New England Patriots and New York Giants.

College Football Journey
Ryan Lewis played college football at the University of Pittsburgh. He was part of the team from 2012 to 2016. During his senior year, he made two important interceptions. One of these was against Deshaun Watson, who later became a famous NFL quarterback. This play helped his team, the Pittsburgh Panthers, win a big game against the #2 ranked Clemson Tigers. He also helped the Panthers beat their rivals, the Penn State Nittany Lions.

After college, Ryan Lewis started his professional football career. He joined many different teams.
Arizona Cardinals
In 2017, the Arizona Cardinals signed Ryan Lewis. He was an undrafted free agent, meaning no team picked him in the main draft. He spent a short time with their practice squad.
New England Patriots
Later in 2017, Ryan joined the New England Patriots' practice squad. With the Patriots, he reached Super Bowl LII, which is the championship game of the NFL season. His team played against the Philadelphia Eagles but lost the game. He stayed with the Patriots into 2018 before moving on.
