Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23, 1976) is a Canadian and American actor, film producer, and businessman. He is famous for his roles in comedies and superhero movies, especially for playing the character Deadpool. His movies have earned over $6.6 billion around the world.
Reynolds was born in Vancouver, Canada. He started his acting career when he was a teenager. His first big role was in the TV show Hillside. He later became well-known for starring in the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl. He has starred in many movies, including comedies like The Proposal and action films like Free Guy.

Early Life
Ryan Rodney Reynolds was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on October 23, 1976. His father, James, was a policeman who later sold food wholesale. His mother, Tamara, worked in retail stores. Ryan is the youngest of four brothers. He has said that growing up with three older brothers was very active.
Reynolds was raised in the Catholic faith in Vancouver. He started acting when he was just thirteen years old. He graduated from Kitsilano Secondary School in 1994. After high school, he took on small roles in TV shows. He felt discouraged for a while and decided to go to Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
