Salvon Ahmed was born on December 30, 1998. He is an American professional football player. Salvon plays as a running back for the Indianapolis Colts. He is part of the exciting National Football League (NFL). Before joining the pros, Salvon played college football for the Washington Huskies.

Early Years in Football
Salvon Ahmed grew up in Kirkland, Washington. He went to Juanita High School there. He was a very talented player in high school.
He was even named to the USA Today all-state team as a defensive player. In his senior year, he ran for 1,300 yards and scored 13 touchdowns. This was amazing, especially since he only played six games because of an injury.
The Seattle Times also recognized him. They named him to their all-area team in both his junior and senior years. Besides football, Salvon was also a good athlete in other sports. He played basketball and ran track, competing in sprints and jumps.
Salvon's Professional Football Journey
After playing three years of college football at the University of Washington, Salvon Ahmed started his professional career.
Starting with the San Francisco 49ers
In 2020, Salvon was signed by the San Francisco 49ers. This happened on May 1, 2020, after he wasn't picked in the NFL Draft. However, he was later released by the team on August 25.
Time with the Miami Dolphins
Just one day later, on August 26, 2020, the Miami Dolphins picked up Salvon. He was briefly released again on September 5. But he quickly rejoined the team's practice squad.
On October 9, he was moved to the main team. He made his first NFL appearance in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals. He ran for 38 yards in that game.
Salvon got his first start and scored his first professional rushing touchdown in 2020. This big moment happened in a game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
In Week 15, Salvon had an amazing game against the New England Patriots. He ran for 122 yards and scored another touchdown. The Dolphins won that game 22–12.
Salvon continued to play for the Dolphins. He signed new contracts with them in March 2023 and March 2024. In July 2024, he was placed on a special injury list. He was then released by the Dolphins on August 19.
A Short Stop with the Denver Broncos
On October 1, 2024, Salvon joined the practice squad of the Denver Broncos. However, his time there was short, as he was released by the Broncos on October 8.
Joining the Indianapolis Colts
On October 16, 2024, Salvon Ahmed signed with the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts. He later signed a special contract on January 6, 2025, to stay with the Colts for the future.
