San Martín de Tábara is a small village located in the province of Zamora, which is part of the Castile and León region in Spain. In 2020, a count of people called a census showed that 72 people lived there. This information comes from the INE, which is Spain's national statistics office.
This village is one of the oldest and most historic places in western Zamora. A very important monastery, called the San Martín monastery, was built here way back in the 10th century. Later, in 1850, the local government office, known as the town hall, moved to a nearby village called Olmillos de Castro. This move helped save money for the area.
Understanding the Town Hall
