Sandborn is a small town located in Knox County, Indiana, United States. It is part of Vigo Township. In 2020, about 359 people lived there. Sandborn is known for its yearly event, the Black Creek Festival.

History of Sandborn
Sandborn was first planned out in 1868. The town was named after an important official who worked for the railroad. A post office was opened in Sandborn the very next year, in 1869.
Geography and Location
Sandborn is in the northeastern part of Knox County. It is just south of the border with Greene County.
How to Get Around Sandborn
Indiana State Road 59 goes right through Sandborn. This road connects the town to Linton and the Greene-Sullivan State Forest to the north. Another road, State Road 67, passes by the northwestern edge of Sandborn. It links the town to the Vincennes area, which is to the southwest.
