Santa Colomba de Somoza is a small town, also known as a municipality, located in the province of León. This province is part of the larger region called Castile and León in Spain. The name of the town, Santa Colomba de Somoza, comes from the Leonese language.
In 2004, a count of the people living there, called a census, showed that about 498 people lived in Santa Colomba de Somoza. By 2018, the population had grown slightly to 504 people.
