Camping and Cabins

If you want to stay overnight, Santee State Park has great options for camping and cabins. It has two main campgrounds:

  • Cypress View Campground: This campground has 50 sites.
  • Lakeshore Campground: This campground offers 108 sites.

Both campgrounds have restrooms with hot showers, which is super helpful after a day of exploring. Many sites are big enough for RVs up to 40 feet long.

The park also has 30 special cabins called "rondettes." Each rondette cabin has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Ten of these cabins are built on piers right over the lake, giving you amazing views and a unique experience!

Hiking and Biking Trails

Santee State Park is a wonderful place to explore on foot or by bike. There are several trails to choose from:

  • Limestone Nature Trail: This hiking trail is 1 mile long.
  • Oak Pinolly Nature Trail: Another 1-mile hiking trail for you to enjoy.
  • Sinkhole Pond Nature Trail: A shorter hiking trail, about half a mile long.
  • Biking Trail: If you love cycling, there's a 7-mile long biking trail.
