Sara Waisglass (born July 3, 1998) is a Canadian actress. She started acting when she was a child.
Sara became well-known for playing Jordy Cooper in the TV show Overruled! from 2010 to 2011. She also played Frankie Hollingsworth in Degrassi: The Next Generation and Degrassi: Next Class from 2013 to 2017. As an adult, she starred as Robyn in the 2017 movie Mary Goes Round. Since 2021, she has played Maxine Baker in the Netflix drama series Ginny & Georgia.

Early Life and Education
Sara was born and grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her parents are Tessa and Jeff Waisglass. She has a sister named Carly. Sara went to Earl Haig Secondary School in Toronto.
She also studied at York University for four years. She earned a degree in screenwriting. Sara wanted to improve her writing skills. She enjoys playing the piano in her free time. Sara is also Jewish.
Sara's Acting Journey
Sara started her acting career in 2007. Her first TV role was playing an eight-year-old Jane in The Jane Show. In 2008, she got her first movie role in the film Afterwards. She acted alongside famous stars like John Malkovich and Evangeline Lilly.
In 2009, Sara continued her TV work. She appeared in 29 episodes of Overruled!. She also appeared in a commercial for KFC. In 2013, she began playing Frankie Hollingsworth in the TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation.
In 2015, Sara was in the movie Life. She acted with Robert Pattinson and Sir Ben Kingsley. That same year, Sara was nominated for an award. She was recognized for "Best Recurring Young Actress 16-21" at the Young Entertainer Awards. This was for her role as Frankie Hollingsworth in Degrassi: The Next Generation.
In 2017, Sara played Robyn in the movie Mary Goes Round. This film was shown at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. In 2020, she played Madison St. Claire in eight episodes of October Faction. This was a supernatural drama series.
In 2021, Sara began starring as Maxine in the Netflix comedy series Ginny & Georgia. She acts with Brianne Howey, Antonia Gentry, Chelsea Clark, and Katie Douglas. After its second season came out, Ginny & Georgia became very popular. It was the most-watched show on Netflix from January to June 2023. Both seasons combined had over 967 million hours watched. In May 2023, Netflix announced that the series would have a third and fourth season. The third season was released on June 5, 2025. It is one of the most anticipated TV shows of 2025.
