Sarah-Jane Crawford is a well-known English TV and radio presenter, actress, and DJ. She is famous for her work on Hits Radio and used to be on BBC Radio 1Xtra. You might also know her from TV shows on E! Network, ITV2 (like The Xtra Factor), BBC, and Channel 4. Sarah-Jane has also hosted and appeared in many shows for the Disney Channel and MTV.
Since 2015, Sarah-Jane has been a vegan. She even launched her own vegan app called Viappi in 2017.

Sarah-Jane's Early Life
Sarah-Jane was born in Lambeth, London. Her birth parents were from Ireland and the Caribbean. She was adopted when she was just two months old.
She went to schools like Bessemer Grange, Dulwich Hamlet, and Sydenham Girls' School. Later, she moved to Cambridgeshire for her last years of high school. Before becoming a TV presenter, Sarah-Jane studied at Kingston University and Anglia Ruskin University. She earned a good degree in marketing.

TV Shows and Presenting
Sarah-Jane started her TV journey on Shipwrecked 3 on Channel 4. She began presenting in 2007. Her first big presenting job was for the Vodafone Live Music Awards. She hosted the red carpet and backstage show for The Hits music video channel, which is now called 4music.
In 2007, she joined E4 Music Zone and Freshly Squeezed for Channel 4. This allowed her to interview many famous people. She talked to stars like Robert De Niro, Usher, Nicole Scherzinger, and Colin Farrell.
Sarah-Jane was a guest on Big Brother's Big Mouth and Big Brother's Little Brother in 2008. In 2009, she helped launch the UK MTV channel VIVA. This was MTV's first new channel. In 2010, she hosted The Music Alphabet on MTV HD. She also appeared in a Nintendo TV ad with Jonathan Ross and Ant and Dec.
In 2013, she co-hosted the BBC Three coverage of the T in the Park music festival. She also co-hosted the Urban Classic Prom at the Royal Albert Hall. Later that year, she co-hosted the Mobo Awards with Trevor Nelson for BBC One and BBC Three.

From 2016 to 2018, Sarah-Jane co-hosted World's Strongest Man for Channel 5. She also took part in Celebs Go Dating on E4 in 2017.
A big moment for Sarah-Jane was co-presenting E!’s live coverage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding in 2018. She reported live from Windsor Castle. This show was broadcast around the world.
Her Work in Radio
In 2008, Sarah-Jane started presenting occasional shows on BBC Radio 1Xtra. By 2009, she had her own show on the early weekend mornings.
In 2011, she moved to a Saturday and Sunday afternoon slot. Here, she started BBC Radio 1Xtra's first Book Club. From 2012, she presented the weekday afternoon slot on BBC Radio 1Xtra.
Sarah-Jane sometimes filled in for other presenters on BBC Radio 1. She even co-hosted a special show about 'Happiness' in 2014. She also hosted a special show for International Women's Day.
In October 2015, Sarah-Jane hosted her last show for BBC Radio 1Xtra. She announced she was leaving to work on TV projects in Los Angeles.
In 2018, Sarah-Jane joined Hits Radio. She presented weeknights and also hosted The Hits Radio Top 40. This show later became known as The UK Chart Show. In 2019, she took over the afternoon slot on the station. Now, she presents every weekend and sometimes fills in for other presenters.
Modelling and Films
Sarah-Jane has also had a career in modelling. In 2013, she signed with Models 1. She appeared on the covers of Black Hair magazine and The Sun's Fabulous magazine in 2014. She was also on the cover of Pride magazine.
In 2015, she became the face of the Brazilian flip-flop brand Ipanema. Later that year, she signed with Select Model Management.
She has also acted in films. In 2013, she appeared in the British film It's A Lot. She played a single mother named Lorna. In 2016, Sarah-Jane was in the film The Hatton Garden Job. She played DCI Emma Carter alongside actors like Matthew Goode and Larry Lamb. This film was released in 2017.
