About Sarai Gascón
Sarai Gascón Moreno was born on November 16, 1992, in Terrassa, a city near Barcelona, Spain. She was born without part of her left forearm. In 2012, Sarai competed in the Spanish Paralympic Swimming Championship. Representing Barcelona, she won first place in the women's 100m breaststroke SB9 event. She then went on to compete at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. There, she won a silver medal in the 100 meter butterfly race and a bronze medal in the 100 meter freestyle race.
