Satanta is a small city in Haskell County, Kansas, in the United States. In 2020, about 1,092 people lived there. Each year, the city celebrates its Native American roots with an event called Satanta Day.

The city of Satanta gets its name from a famous Native American leader. He was Chief Satanta of the Kiowa people.

The first post office in Satanta opened its doors in October 1912. This helped people send and receive mail. The city was officially formed in 1929.
