The Sawyer Kill is a small, important stream in New York state. It is about 7 miles (11 kilometers) long. This stream is a tributary, which means it flows into a larger river. The Sawyer Kill flows into the mighty Hudson River.
The stream starts at a place called the Great Vlaie. This spot is right on the border between Ulster and Greene counties. The Sawyer Kill then travels south. It finally joins the Hudson River at Seamon Park. This park is in Malden, New York, just north of the village of Saugerties.
