Where is Scenic Oaks Located?
Scenic Oaks is found in the northern part of Bexar County. It has some interesting neighbors. To the east, you'll find Interstate 10, a major highway. The big city of San Antonio is to its southeast.
To the south, there's another community called Cross Mountain. And to the north, Balcones Creek forms the border with Kendall County. Part of Scenic Oaks is a gated community, which means it has controlled entrances.
If you travel on Interstate 10, you can reach downtown San Antonio in about 25 miles (40 km) to the south. Or, you can go about 8 miles (13 km) northwest to the town of Boerne.
