Some people call Atlas Corps a "reverse Peace Corps" because it brings people to the U.S. instead of sending Americans abroad.

Scott Beale grew up in a state called Delaware. He went to a school there called Tatnall School. After that, he attended Georgetown University and finished in 1998. He also earned a special degree called an MPA from the University of Delaware. This degree helps people learn how to manage public organizations.

How Scott Beale Started Helping Others

While he was at Georgetown University, Scott Beale was very active. He helped organize events at the U.S. Capitol building. He also worked to help young people register to vote for a group called Rock the Vote. He even spent time working for Joseph R. Biden Jr., who was a Senator from Delaware at the time.

Working with the Peace Corps

In January 2021, Scott Beale joined the Peace Corps. He became the Associate Director for Global Operations. In this role, he helps manage the Peace Corps' work all over the world. The Peace Corps is a program where Americans volunteer to help people in other countries.
