Scott Lawrence (born September 27, 1963) is an American actor. He is well-known for playing Commander Sturgis Turner on the TV show JAG. He was on the show from 2001 to 2005. Scott Lawrence is also famous for lending his voice to Darth Vader in many Star Wars video games. He has been doing this since 1994, often sounding like the original voice actor, James Earl Jones.

Scott Lawrence's Acting Journey
Scott Lawrence started his acting career in Hollywood in the late 1980s. He appeared in many TV shows and movies. One of his first roles was in L.A. Law, where he acted alongside James Earl Jones. He also had a regular role on Murphy Brown. In the early 1990s, he was often seen on the Whoopi Goldberg series Bagdad Cafe.
Early Movie Roles
His first movie appearance was in the 1990 thriller The First Power. He acted with Lou Diamond Phillips in this film. Next, he appeared in the 1993 horror movie Doppelganger, which starred Drew Barrymore. Other movies he was in include the action film Timecop with Jean-Claude Van Damme. He also appeared in Howard Stern's movie Private Parts.
Voicing Darth Vader
From 1994 to 2006, Scott Lawrence was the voice of Darth Vader in many Star Wars video games. These games were made by LucasArts. After his work on Star Wars: Empire at War, another actor, Matt Sloan, took over the role. However, Scott Lawrence returned to voice Vader in more recent games. He voiced Vader in the Vader Immortal VR Series. He also played Vader in the 2019 game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Later TV and Film Work
In 2011, Scott Lawrence appeared in NCIS. This show is a spin-off from JAG. He played a different character in the episode "A Man Walks Into a Bar...".
His movie roles also include the huge hit film Avatar from 2009. He was also in The Social Network in 2010. In 2019, Lawrence played Special Agent Billy Taggart in the Netflix series Unbelievable. This show was very popular with critics. In 2020, he was a guest on The George Lucas Talk Show during a special fundraising episode.
