Scott Eric Meents (born January 4, 1964) is an American former professional basketball player. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and other leagues around the world.

Playing in the NBA
After college, Scott Meents was chosen in the 1986 NBA draft. The Chicago Bulls picked him as the 74th player overall. This was in the fourth round of the draft.
He later played for the Seattle SuperSonics in the NBA. He was with the SuperSonics from 1989 to 1991. During his time there, he averaged 1.8 points and 1.0 rebound per game.
