Kenneth Campbell (born June 17, 1983), known by his stage names Young Scrilla, Scrilla, or Scrillz, is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. Scrilla has been making music since 2006. He is a member of the entertainment group called No Line Gang, which is based in Atlanta. He was also part of Young Jeezy's music label, CTE World, for a time. He shared on Twitter that he left CTE World on December 31, 2012.

Early Life and Music Beginnings

Scrilla was born and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He lived in an area known as Campbellton Road. Scrilla started rapping when he was just 11 years old, showing his talent early on. In 2007, he won the BMI Urban Showcase, which is a competition for new music artists.

Scrilla's Music Career

Scrilla has released several mixtapes, which are like albums that artists often share for free. These mixtapes helped him share his music with many listeners.

First Mixtapes

In 2008, Scrilla released his first mixtape called Ben Hill Beast. This project was created with help from Franklin Family Entertainment and Don Music Group, and producer Nitti. Ben Hill Beast was available for free online.

On April 20, 2011, Scrilla released another free mixtape online, titled Smoke & Mirrors. This mixtape included a special remix of his song "I Ball, I Stunt," which featured CTE World President Young Jeezy. Soon after Smoke & Mirrors came out, Scrilla joined CTE World.

Working with CTE World

On June 19, 2012, Scrilla released his first and only full-length project with CTE World, called The Demonstration. This mixtape featured collaborations with other artists and producers like Southside, Killer Mike, Young Jeezy, SuperCed, and Freddie Gibbs. On December 31, 2012, Scrilla announced on Twitter that he was leaving Jeezy's CTE World label. He mentioned that there were "no hard feelings," meaning he left on good terms.

Scrilla has shared that many artists have influenced his music style. Some of these include famous musicians like 2Pac, Young Jeezy, Michael Jackson, Killer Mike, Jay-Z, and Anthony Hamilton.
