Sean Curtis Green (born February 2, 1970) is an American who used to play professional basketball. He is also a certified triathlon coach and used to coach a girls' basketball team. Today, Sean lives in California, helps athletes improve, and hosts a podcast called “Let Me Cook”.

Sean Green's Basketball Journey
Sean Green started his high school basketball career at August Martin High School. He also played for a special team called AAU at Riverside Church. On this team, he played with other future stars like Malik Sealy and Kenny Anderson.
High School and College Years
In 1987, Sean moved to Oak Hill Academy, a famous basketball school. His coach there was Steve Smith. After high school, Sean went to North Carolina State University for one year. He then transferred to Iona College to finish his college basketball career.
During his last year at Iona, Sean was amazing. He scored an average of 23.2 points per game. He also grabbed 5.2 rebounds and made 1.7 steals per game. Because of his great performance, he was chosen for the First Team All-MAAC.
Playing in the NBA
In 1991, the Indiana Pacers picked Sean Green as the 41st player in the 1991 NBA draft. He was the last player from Iona College to play in an NBA game for a long time. Later, Scott Machado played briefly for the Houston Rockets in 2012.
Sean played for the Indiana Pacers for two years. After that, he decided to move to the Philadelphia 76ers. During his third year in the NBA, Sean was traded to the Utah Jazz. He finished the 1994 season with the Jazz, which was his last year in the NBA.
Playing Around the World
After his time in the NBA, Sean Green continued to play professional basketball for eight more years. He played in many different countries across Europe, Asia, and South America.

In 2010, Sean became the head coach for the girls' varsity basketball team. This was at the Convent of the Sacred Heart preparatory school in Greenwich, CT. In just two years, he helped the team improve a lot. They went from winning only 4 games to winning 18 games in 2012. They also won their first league and tournament championship in 23 years!
Sean coached at Convent of the Sacred Heart from 2010 to 2014. During that time, his team had a great record of 57 wins and 28 losses. After coaching, Sean continued to train athletes in the New York City area. He has worked with many different people, including famous actors and NBA players.
