Senèdes was a small town, or municipality, in Switzerland. It was located in the Sarine district, in the Fribourg area. On January 1, 2021, Senèdes joined with two other towns, Arconciel and Ependes. Together, they formed a new, larger municipality called Bois-d'Amont.

Senèdes has a long history! The town was first written about in the year 1233. Back then, its name was spelled Senaide.

Senèdes was a very small area, about half a square kilometer. Most of its land was used for farming. About three-quarters of the land was for crops and pastures. A smaller part, about 10%, was covered by forests. The rest of the land had buildings and roads.
