Serdar Aziz was born on October 23, 1990. He is a professional football player from Turkey. He usually plays as a defender, either in the center (a centre-back) or on the right side (a right-back). Serdar Aziz most recently played for the club Fenerbahçe in the Süper Lig, which is Turkey's top football league.

Early Life and Start in Football
Serdar Aziz was born in Osmangazi, a part of Bursa, Turkey. His father came from Bitola, North Macedonia, and had Turkish roots. His mother was born in Bursa. Serdar has an older brother and an older sister. His father also played football as a hobby in Bursa.
When Serdar was 10 years old, he joined a football school in Bursa. After just two months, he was signed to a youth contract by Bursaspor. At first, Serdar played in the middle of the field as a midfielder. He was smaller than other players.
However, Serdar asked his coach to let him play as a center-back. He felt he wasn't skilled enough for midfield. Soon after, Serdar grew taller, which made his position as a defender perfect for him.

Serdar Aziz has played for several big clubs in Turkey. He started his professional journey at Bursaspor.
Playing for Bursaspor
In 2006, when Serdar was still young, coach Raşit Çetiner invited him to train with the main team. Even though he didn't play in a game yet, it was a great chance to learn.
For the 2007–08 season, he was loaned to Bursa Merinosspor. Serdar wasn't happy about this at first. But he soon realized that this club was very similar to Bursaspor. He learned that playing in the TFF Third League helped him become a stronger professional defender.
Serdar made his first professional game for Bursaspor on October 25, 2008. They played against Fenerbahçe and lost 5–2. Serdar was part of the Bursaspor team that won the Süper Lig championship in the 2009–10 season. This was a huge achievement for the club. He played 137 games and scored 7 goals for Bursaspor.
Moving to Galatasaray
On July 1, 2016, Serdar Aziz moved to another top Turkish club, Galatasaray. The transfer cost €4.5 million. He played his first game for Galatasaray on October 25, 2016, in a Turkish Cup match. Galatasaray won 5–1 against Dersimspor.
His first Süper Lig game for Galatasaray was on November 20, 2016. It was a big game, the Intercontinental Derby, against Fenerbahçe. Galatasaray lost 2–0. On February 23, 2018, he scored a goal against his old club, Bursaspor. Galatasaray won 3–0, and Serdar chose not to celebrate his goal out of respect. He played 42 games and scored 3 goals for Galatasaray.
Joining Fenerbahçe
On January 31, 2019, Serdar Aziz moved to Fenerbahçe on a free transfer. He signed a contract for three and a half years. He played his first game for Fenerbahçe on February 8, 2019, in a 1–0 win against Göztepe.
On May 20, 2022, he signed a new three-year contract with Fenerbahçe. On September 21, 2023, Serdar scored his first goal in a European club competition. This happened against Nordsjælland in the UEFA Europa Conference League. Fenerbahçe won that game 3–1.
On July 8, 2024, Serdar Aziz and the club agreed for him to move to another team. He left the Fenerbahçe training camp. He played 110 games and scored 10 goals for Fenerbahçe.
Playing for His Country
Serdar Aziz has played for different youth teams of Turkey. He played for the U–16, U–17, U–18, U–19, and U–21 teams. He was part of the U–19 team that played in the 2009 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship.
Serdar has some family roots in Kosovo, which means he could have played for the Kosovo national team. However, he always felt Turkish and wanted to play for Turkey. He also turned down an offer to play for the Macedonia national football team.
He made his debut for the senior Turkey national team on November 16, 2014. In that game against Kazakhstan, he scored Turkey's third goal in a 3–1 win. He has played 18 games for the senior national team and scored 2 goals.
