Sergej Ćetković (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Сергеј Ћетковић; born on March 8, 1976) is a popular singer from Montenegro. He is known for his amazing voice and pop music. Sergej lives and works in Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia. He became even more famous when he represented Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.

About Sergej Ćetković
Early Life and Music
Sergej Ćetković was born in Podgorica, which was then part of Yugoslavia, on March 8, 1976. He started his musical journey very early. When he was just seven years old, he joined his first band. This group was called Vatrena srca, which means "Fiery Hearts".
In Vatrena srca, Sergej played the piano and sang. This experience made him realize he wanted to be a professional musician. He loved being on stage and sharing his music.
Starting a Solo Career
Sergej began his solo singing career in 1998. His first big performance was at a well-known festival called Sunčane skale. He sang a song titled Bila si ruža, meaning "You were a rose". This was an important step for him.
Two years later, in December 2000, Sergej released his first album. It was named Kristina. The album was a huge success! A music company called Goraton bought the rights to it. They then re-released the album and sold it across the countries that were once part of Yugoslavia.
New Albums and Success
Sergej released his second album, Budi mi voda ("Be my water"), in December 2002. This album had 12 brand new songs. In 2003, he took part in the Budva festival. His song Postojim i ja won an award for its great musical arrangement.
In 2005, Goraton released a special album called The Best Of.... This album featured Sergej's most popular songs up to that point. After this, Sergej released his third album, Kad ti zatreba. It included 10 new songs. One of the most loved songs from this album was Pogledi u tami.
Big Concert Tours
In 2007, Sergej went on a very successful concert tour. He performed in many cities across Serbia and Montenegro. His concerts were so popular that all the tickets sold out quickly. In many towns, extra shows had to be added because so many people wanted to see him. The song Pogledi u tami was a huge hit during these concerts.
Eurovision Song Contest
On November 19, 2013, Sergej Ćetković was chosen for a very special role. He was selected to represent Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. This is a huge international music competition. His song for the contest was called Moj svijet, which means "My World".
Sergej performed in the first semi-final of the contest. He did very well and qualified for the grand final on May 10. This was a historic moment for Montenegro, as it was the first time their country reached the Eurovision final! In the end, Sergej finished in 19th place out of 26 countries. He earned 37 points.
