Serhii Volodymyrovych Shakhov (Ukrainian: Сергій Володимирович Шахов; born 7 May 1975) is a Ukrainian politician. He has served as a People's Deputy of Ukraine since 2016. He is a member of the Ukrainian Parliament.

About Serhii Shakhov
Early Life and Education
Serhii Shakhov's family comes from the Luhansk Oblast region. In 1976, his family moved to Kadiivka. He studied law and earned a master's degree in 2011 from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University in Ukraine.
Community Work and Charity
Serhii Shakhov started a public organization in Kadiivka called «Dobrodiy». This group provides help to schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and sports clubs. In 2011, he received an award for his excellent work from the All-Ukraine Charity Organization «Ukrainian Cultural Fund».
Political Journey
Starting in Local Politics
In March 2006, Serhii Shakhov was chosen as a deputy for the Luhansk Oblast Council. He represented the Kadiivka area. Later, in December 2010, he became a member of the executive committee for the Kadiivka city Council.
Joining the Parliament
In 2012, he led his team in elections for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. He was not part of a specific political party at that time.
Serhii Shakhov is also the leader and founder of a public organization called People’s Belief. He helped organize many discussions across Ukraine to talk about how to unite the country.
He has supported Ukrainian soldiers and border guards by providing them with supplies like body armor and night vision devices. He also gave financial help to a volunteer battalion. Serhii Shakhov helped organize the temporary move of over 200 families from Donetsk and Luhansk to safer regions in Ukraine. He also helped save a pilot's life during military actions. He cares for wounded soldiers in the Kyiv Central Military Hospital.
In 2016, Serhii Shakhov became a people's deputy of Ukraine. He won a special election in constituency No. 114 in Luhansk Oblast. He officially became a deputy in September 2016. He joined the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for its procedures and organization. In February 2016, he became a member of the parliamentary group «People's Will».
Later Elections and Roles
In the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election, Serhii Shakhov ran as an independent candidate. He won constituency No. 114 again, receiving 43.17% of the votes. At that time, he was a member of the Our Land party.
He was also a candidate for Mayor of Kyiv for the Our Land party in the 2020 Kyiv local election. He finished in 15th place in that election.
Personal Life
Serhii Shakhov lives with his partner, Inna Zhurba, and their two children in Dubai.
