Serrenti is a town, also known as a comune, located on the beautiful island of Sardinia in Italy. It is part of the Province of South Sardinia. Serrenti is about 35 kilometers (22 miles) northwest of Cagliari, a major city in Sardinia. It is also about 9 kilometers (6 miles) southeast of Sanluri. As of December 31, 2004, about 5,125 people lived in Serrenti. The town covers an area of 42.8 square kilometers (16.5 square miles).
