Seven Mile Beach is a lovely place where people live, located in the Clarence area of Tasmania. It's part of the wider Hobart area. This spot is about 17 kilometers (or about 10.5 miles) east of a town called Rosny Park. In 2016, a count of people living there, called a census, showed that 1286 people called Seven Mile Beach home.

History of the Area
Seven Mile Beach officially became a recognized place in 1966. When a place is "gazetted," it means its name and boundaries are formally recorded by the government. This helps everyone know exactly where it is.
Where is Seven Mile Beach?
Seven Mile Beach is a coastal area. The southern edge of the locality is mostly next to the waters of Frederick Henry Bay. On the eastern side, and part of the northern side, you'll find Pitt Water. These bodies of water help define where Seven Mile Beach is located.
Getting Around: Roads and Transport
Getting to and from Seven Mile Beach is quite easy by road. Acton Road (also known as Route C330) runs to the south-west of the area. This road continues on to Lauderdale.
To get into Seven Mile Beach itself, you can use Estate Drive and Seven Mile Beach Road. These roads connect to Acton Road. In 2017, a new road called Grueber Avenue opened. This road links Surf Road to the Hobart International Airport and the Tasman Highway (Highway A3) through Holyman Avenue. This makes travel to the airport and other major areas much simpler.
