How the Wonders Were Chosen
The idea to find Poland's top wonders began with a public vote. First, people online suggested over 400 national monuments. These were all places important to Poland's history and culture.
Voting for the Top Places
In the next step, a group of experts looked at all the suggestions. They carefully picked 27 of the best places from the long list. This made it easier for people to choose their favorites.
The Final Public Vote
The last round of voting started on August 31, 2007. People could vote online to pick the top seven wonders. The results of this popular vote were announced on September 21, 2007. This is how the final list of the Seven Wonders of Poland was created.
