Her Amazing Career
Shalini started her work at a company called HCL. She worked there for three years. After that, she joined IBM Software Labs. At IBM, she became a solution architect. This means she helped design how computer systems would work.
Shalini made history at IBM. She became the first woman in India to be named an IBM Fellow. This is a very special title given to top scientists and engineers. She also became the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for AI Applications in India. In this role, she helps decide how IBM uses AI in its products.
Shalini is known for creating new and smart solutions. She focuses on using AI to help with big problems. For example, she works on AI solutions for climate change.
