In 2019, he released his first mixtape, Dark Moon Flower. This mixtape featured many artists, including American rappers like Kota the Friend and Bas.

Early Life and Music Beginnings

Shane Patrick Hughes was born on June 7, 1996, in Rabie Ridge, a part of Johannesburg, South Africa. His mother is Coloured and his father is Irish. When he was five, his parents separated, and he moved to Kempton Park with his father. He still visited his mother in Rabie Ridge often.

The name "Eagle" came from his friends in Rabie Ridge, and he decided to use it as part of his stage name. Shane started rapping in high school. He recorded his very first song when he was 13 years old at a friend's studio.

Shane Eagle's Career Journey

Starting Out and Becoming Famous (2015–2016)

After finishing high school, Shane Eagle decided to try out for The Hustle. This was a new TV show where rappers competed. To join, artists had to upload a video of themselves rapping online. Shane applied and was chosen to be on the show. He ended up finishing in fourth place.

After The Hustle, Shane Eagle became well-known and gained many fans. On October 8, 2015, he released his first song called "Way Up." It featured BigStar Johnson, who was also on The Hustle. The song was played a lot on South African radio stations.

In March 2016, Shane Eagle also became a TV presenter for a show called V Entertainment. He joined other presenters like Moozlie and DJ Speedsta. He left the show in early 2017 when it took a break.

During 2016, Shane Eagle released more songs like "I'm Back" and "Cutting Corners." He released these songs through his own music company, Eagle Entertainment.
