Playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers (2006–2008)

Brown started his NBA career with the Cleveland Cavaliers. In his first season, he played in 23 games and showed some good skills. He even scored double-digit points a couple of times.
During his time with the Cavaliers, Brown also spent some time playing in the NBA Development League (now called the G-League). He played for teams like the Albuquerque Thunderbirds and the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. This helped him get more playing experience.

Brown's increased playing time continued into the playoffs. He helped the Lakers win the NBA championship in 2009. The next year, in 2010, he was even selected to compete in the Slam Dunk Competition during the NBA All-Star Weekend. He also had a career-high game with 27 points and 10 rebounds. The Lakers went on to win another championship in 2010, giving Brown his second NBA title.
