Long ago, this community was also known by a funny name: Frog Level. It's interesting how places can have different names over time!
Sharon Grove Community Park
In 1974, a local group called the Lions Club worked on an exciting project. They wanted to create the Sharon Grove Community Park. They got some help from the Pennyrile Area Development District and even soldiers from the Army stationed at Fort Campbell.
The park was built on a 12-acre piece of land. What made it special was that it included a natural cave! Imagine having a cave right in your community park.
Where is Sharon Grove Located?
Sharon Grove is found in the northeastern part of Todd County. It's very close to the border with Logan County. The community is located along Kentucky Route 106. It's about 8 miles northeast of a town called Elkton. It's also about 9 miles southwest of Lewisburg.

Sharon Grove's Early Schools
Sharon Grove once had a school that taught students of all ages. In the late 1930s, this school changed and became only an elementary school. It was known as Sharon Grove Elementary. This school taught students from first grade all the way up to eighth grade. It stayed that way until the end of the 1987–88 school year.
Current School System
Since 1988, students living in Sharon Grove attend schools that are part of the Todd County Schools system. The closest school for younger students is North Todd Elementary. This school is located between Allegre and Claymour. After elementary school, students go to Todd County Central Middle and High Schools, which are located in Elkton.
