What Makes Her Books Special?

Sheena Porter's books are known for their amazing feeling and how real her characters seem. She often writes about beautiful landscapes and actual places, especially in the high areas of the Welsh Marches. These places include Nordy Bank (which is also a real place, not just a book title!) and the Long Mynd, which you can read about in her book The Knockers. She also likes to mix the history and old stories (folklore) of these areas into her adventures.
