Kuk Son-young (born September 20, 1992), also known as Shine Kuk, is a talented actress, host, and singer from South Korea. She lives and works in the Philippines. Shine became well-known in 2014 after winning a special contest called "You're My Foreignay" on the TV show Eat Bulaga!. Since then, she has appeared in many television shows. She also won the title of Miss Korea Philippines in 2018.

About Shine Kuk

Shine Kuk first visited the Philippines with her family on a trip. In 2014, she won the "You're My Foreignay" contest on the popular variety show Eat Bulaga!. After winning, she also became a co-host on the show.

Shine is a very dedicated person. She studied Consular and Diplomatic Affairs at De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde and successfully graduated. She has appeared as a guest star in the GMA sitcom Vampire Ang Daddy Ko. She also showed her acting skills in the ABS-CBN comedy show Banana Sundae. When she was 25 years old, Shine won the Miss Korea Philippines pageant in 2018.

In 2019, Shine started her own YouTube channel. On her channel, she teaches people Filipino lessons. She also shares tips about Korean make-up. Shine Kuk was also the first Korean host on the Shop TV home shopping channel.
