Shweta Bachchan Nanda, born on March 17, 1974, is an Indian writer, former model, and fashion designer. She has written for well-known newspapers and magazines. Shweta is also the author of a popular book called Paradise Towers. In 2018, she started her own fashion brand, MXS.

Early Life and Family
Shweta Bachchan Nanda was born on March 17, 1974. Her parents are famous Bollywood actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. She studied at Boston University.
On February 16, 1997, Shweta married Nikhil Nanda. He is a businessman. They have two children together. Their daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, was born in December 1997. Their son, Agastya Nanda, was born in November 2000.
Her Career Journey
Shweta Bachchan Nanda first worked as a model in September 2006. She appeared in L'Officiel India magazine. In June 2009, she was featured in the same magazine with her brother, Abhishek Bachchan.
In 2007, she led a special series on NDTV Profit. This series, called "Next Generation," featured interviews. Since 2018, she has been a brand ambassador for Kalyan Jewellers.
Shweta has also written columns for Daily News and Analysis and Vogue India. Her columns were praised for being "funny" and "insightful."
In 2018, she launched her own fashion label, MXS. She started this brand with Monisha Jaising.
Becoming an Author
In October 2018, Shweta Bachchan Nanda released her first book. It was a novel called Paradise Towers, published by HarperCollins. The book became a bestseller.
She has also written introductions for other books. These include Aishwarya Rajinikanth's 2016 book, Standing on an Apple Box: The Story of a Girl among the Stars. She also wrote for Rukhsana Eisa's book, The Golden Code: Mastering the Art of Social Success.
