What is Slopestyle and Big Air?
- Slopestyle is a snowboarding event where athletes ride down a course. This course has different obstacles like jumps, rails, and boxes. Riders perform tricks as they go down. They are judged on how difficult their tricks are, how well they do them, and their overall style.
- Big air is another thrilling event. In big air, snowboarders ride down a ramp and launch themselves high into the air. While airborne, they perform amazing flips and spins. They are judged on the height of their jump, the difficulty of their trick, and how perfectly they land.
Early Career and First Wins
Silje started her professional snowboarding journey and quickly made a name for herself. She showed great talent from a young age. One of her first big wins was in 2013.
